2-Back to the Basics: Building an Assessment System That Actually Drives Instruction

From HQIR to Common Formative Assessments to MAP Growth: Using the Right Tools, Data, and Conversations at the Right Time This interactive session explores how Breckinridge County Schools connects HQIR, common formative assessments, and MAP Growth to create a coherent assessment system that supports instruction. Participants will examine practical ways to use data, strengthen PLC conversations, address unfinished learning, and plan intervention and enrichment. Participants will leave with tools and strategies for turning assessment data into meaningful instructional decisions.

3- Ready, Set, Grow- Student Growth

Kentucky is moving away from change to growth.  Instructional Leaders need to be ready to support educators to ensure that all students make academic growth.  This session will build participants’ understanding of growth, share analysis tools to promote powerful conversations focused on growth, and provide strategies for working to build a culture focused on improving learning for all students.
