The recent changes to the assessment and accountability system in Kentucky has created much comment and concern; comments such as "the test drives instruction" and concerns that our students will not be instructed in areas that “do not count.” To this end the KAAC board of directors has developed the Learning Pledge. We encourage each school district and school council to adopt the pledge and operate our schools and classrooms in such fashion.

The Learning Pledge (PDF)

The Learning Pledge (MS Word)

The MS Word dcoument will allow for schools and districts to insert their respective names. KAAC respectively request that no changes be made to the contents of this document.
